Pump does not perform to expectations. I have started a return of this product. It is not sufficient for our pool needs.

Hayward pump went bad after 4 years. Internal corrosion, etc. Could've rebuilt for about 90 bucks. This works well, quieter even when my Hayward was new. Even though my Hayward was only 3/4 hp the output was a bit more. More productive impeller? Not sure. But the difference is not huge. Its just a bit less. Hayward ran pressure in sand filter housing at about 12lbs. This one is hangs around 10 lbs. Hayward had a switch on the pump itself but I never used it so don't miss it. Fit perfectly on my Hayward stand too.Hayward replacement twice as much. Its a no brainer.
