Motor is very quiet and runs great. Couldn't be happier with the purchase of this motor because of the lower price of it compared to name brand motors.

Excellent build quality and price! The 1hp unit moved more water than my old 1.5hp StaRite pump. I cannot believe how quiet this pump runs. It literally took 10 minutes to swap out, as all the fittings were reusable, and in the same positions as the old pump. A+++++++!

Takes less than an hour to shift output to horizontal, basket removes with a big C clip, unscrew both end caps, remove four long black bolts. Pry to separate plastic shield so the vent hole is now on the bottom. Reassemble. I needed a short piece of 1 1/2" pvc and a no hub connector to mate the pump to the pentair filter. It comes with the fitting needed . I used some compound on the O ring . It runs very quiet.

Completely comparable to more expensive brands! My last pump was Hayward and this one works exactly the same for 1/2 the money!

Replaced a Hayward pump. Easy to install and 1 month in, running great.
