It works good so far but the motor runs really hot. Installation was pretty simple. It worked better when I put it on high.

Good pool investment
Bought this pump 4 weeks ago to replace our Hayward pool pump with noisy bearings, we figured for the price it worth taking the chance. Turns out to be a super quiet pump, moves water way better than the Hayward. I would buy this pump again hands down, now to see how long it lasts over all..

Great product, great price, but expensive solar panels.
Pump is working fine with 4x 170W panels in series, even runs (more slowly) on overcast days. Seems like a great product at a great price with the current $100 off coupon! But keep in mind you are spending much more for the solar panels ($350) than for the pump.

2 hp vevor pool pump
Great price, shipped fast. My fault at not looking at proper voltage and 230 won’t work for us so I need to exchange it for 115V.

Works very well!
I bought the small 500 watt pump and attached two 500 watt / 36v panels to it and it works amazingly well even in low light or during rain! The pump and controller seem well built and the solar cables and other items were of quality. It pumps as much water as my old AC pump that took 1200 watts and now it’s isolated from the home solar system. This is important to me as I am using it in an off grid home. Running the old pump for 4 hours a day took almost 5000 watt hours from my home system while this new DC pump starts up at 7am and runs until 5pm (in Panama) and takes no power from my home system. I’m very impressed. I hope it lasts!

Fantastic pump
Used this pump to replace a name brand single speed pump and I could not be happier. The price was lowest I could find. Was sceptical at first, but figured I'd give it a try. Worked out well. Easy to install (for me) and works perfectly. Have a 35k gallon in ground pool with a salt water cell system. I keep the pump on low 24\7 and still cheaper than 12 hours with a single speed pump. The low speed is strong enough for 2 skimmers and 2 returns. Water features like the slide and vacuuming requires the high speed. Low speed is sufficient for 24\7 skimming and chlorine production from the salt cell. High speed for features and vacuuming. Very glad I went with this pump. Saved a lot of money and will save a lot more with the 2 speeds.

You can not beat this pool pump. The price is so reasonable and the pump is made excellent. I was alittle skeptical at first, before I bought it because the price was so good. However, I placed the order, received the pump and it was installed and has worked perfectly since!

Great Pump, Great Value
I picked up the 900W (1.2HP) unit last week, connected the pump to (4) 250W panels in series (Slightly less power than recommended), and at peak day hours the pump ran in full power. I had it plumbed over the weekend, and all went well. This a well design product; however where what I see at least one improvements that can be made. Early mornings, and later afternoons, panels power diminishes but voltage is still above the 72V threshold; So the motor stays running at really slow speed and not moving any water. This could go on for an hour or two every day which worries me a bit. My plan is to order a photosensor relay board for few dollars and set the light intensity to a threshold: when not enough light is detected, the relay will signal the mppt controller to turn off the motor. N.C signal when enough sun, becomes N.O when not enough sun. Otherwise no complaints. This thing will pay for itself in 3 months if it holds. Definitely recommend.

Wow, so much flow
This pump works so well. The flow on low is more than before at half the power use. I'm so happy with it. It's also quieter. On high power it pushes water half way across the 50 foot length . Glad I got this.
