great for DIY swing set. suspect bolts

built a pretty large swingset for m son with these brackets. they make things a whole lot easier. the only complaint is that the bolts are not very strong. using a 1/4\" impact, I snapped 2 of them. I used some of my own hardware and have no other issues. would buy again.

Attaching hardware

I would replace the bolt and nut combination with 2 inch X 5/16 diameter lag bolts. Without sophisticated machining or drilling equipment, it virtually impossible to line up the holes for the bolts through the 4X4 or 4X6 beams.
