The imaging quality is good for a budget thermal imaging device. It is easy to use and gives accurate readings. The only downside is that it does skip while refreshing but a small flaw for a great value device.

So handy for checking your projects for hotspots. That is true for the whole house! The different color pallets come in very handy depending on the device/distance. Easy to use and accurate. Wish these were cheaper in general but for this price point it’s a solid buy.

The instrument is an excellent one but the instruction manual is inadequate. I had to have a computer literate person come an assist me figure out how to use the instrument. The directions regarding the use of the buttons to determine what view to use was beyond me but my grandson, who works as an AI expert figured it out.

Works well, good entry camera

It wouldn't work on my cell phone but if I had better WI-FI it might have, as far as I know it won't work with a wired connection. Just keep in mind it's NOT BLUETOOTH. So I returned it for a full refund with the hassle free 30 day return policy.

This thing work out great and it turn out I can use it to located house stud as well. The only draw back is if you have older tablet or phone, it'll not work. I was initially want to use it with my tablet since I'm not comfortable installing 3rd party app outside of app store which is not approved by Google or Apple.

For sub two hundred Benji's, my socks are officially blown off. I picked up the pocket camera (HT-A2+) because of the self-contained and smaller profile. I needed something that would ready to go without assembly, with minimal delay, and could withstand the harsh environment of turnout gear. This fit the bill in every way. I was quite surprised at how well the WIFI feature works. I didn't think I'd ever use it, but it's so simple, and it provides for remote viewing, that I actually think I will likely use it. Once enabled in the settings, simply search on your phone for a hotspot with the Thermal-0000 name, and connect (it's open / no security). Then go to 192.168.230.1 (make a bookmark). Instantly the screen on the camera is mirrored to the phone. Practically no lag. This make it much safer to inspect attic spaces by putting the camera on a pole and viewing from the ground on a tablet or phone. Genius. Inexpensive. Love it.

My new favorite toy. Makes me feel like I just got the latest alien tech from the predator movies. Impressive detail and distance. It acts like a night vision camera allowing you to use the difference in heat to see in no light situations. Able to track animals at over 100 meters at night. Can see the wood studs and beams in my walls and ceiling. Love the different types of thermal spectrums to choose from. Shows you what temperature something is from a distance. Found my cat in the brush pile. Because it has its own battery, you can you it as a peep site to look around corners or in hard to reach/see areas. Would recommend to many types of users.
