I made the mistake of getting a freestanding safety rail that was so unsteady I almost fell my OT suggested I get the kind that attached to the toilet and this one fit the bill it is much steadier and I feel a lot safer he set it up for me it didn't seem to hard and didn't take long. I think he used just a screwdriver and pliers we have a chair-height American Standard toilet. The price was all right.

My wife needs a walker to get around, and will probably need it for the rest of her life. As a result, I have had to surround her with assistive devices, both for mobility and safety. The toilet was one problem area. She had trouble getting back to a standing position. She would grab the towel rack and frequently break it and fall. I tried some of those suction-cup grab-bars, but they would often come loose. When I mentioned getting this safety rail frame she was skeptical, afraid it would make the bathroom look like a hospital bathroom. It went together in about 20 minutes, with no problem working around a bidet attachment. First time she tried it she said \"I love it!\" It adds a much-needed level of safety, security and peace-of-mind to her bathroom visits. It's well-made, solid and supportive. I couldn't ask for anything more.

The product requires assembly bit it's not difficult. It's very study. Makes getting up-and sitting down-much easier which I'll need because of my upcoming surgery. The hardware was perfect; the holes for the toilet bolts were just right so it installed easier, the first time. It's exactly what I need. I'm very pleased with this item.

The only thing that I would complain about is the instructions went very clear and if you put it together wrong, it didn't fit but we did eventually figure out. It work's perfectly.
