This is a handsome set of towing mirrors for my 2000 Ford F350 XLT Dually. I especially like the large convex auxiliary rear view mirrors - great for backing up with a trailer. Included is a pictorial manual with reasonable explanations. There is also a pigtail adapter included, which I did not need. I was able to connect my new mirror cable directly to the existing connector. It does take some time getting used to the truck with these large mirrors. It looks like Big Ears! The mirrors do not extend much past the old mirrors, but the larger size gives a great rear view. I included a photo with the mirror folded in. My truck does not have the turn signal and heating function in the wiring. I wish they would sell an upgrade kit for old trucks like mine. I had no problem installing the mirrors. They fitted neatly in place, including over the widow seals at the bottom (see photo). Here are a few things to note during the install: First remove the door panel and unclip the electric cable to the mirror. Then remove the mirror. Both the old and new mirrors are heavy. Although the manual mentions 11 mm hold-down nuts on the mirrors, on my truck they are 10 mm and the new mirrors are also 10 mm. To prevent the mirror nuts from dropping into the door cavity, I placed a blob of grease in the socket. It worked well to hold the nuts during unscrewing, as well as when assembling. If you drop a nut, don’t worry - the old nuts fit the new mirror. There is a foam seal loosely fitted to the bottom of the base. There are sections of this foam seal that must be cut out before fitting (see photo). Once the new mirror was in place, I started to tighten the nuts. What helped the mirror to fit snugly in place, was to give the new mirror a shake in between tightening down the nuts. Also make sure the power cable does not get pinched. About 10 minutes after tightening the nuts, I found the mirror to be loose. I had to re-tighten the mirror nuts 3 times over a 30 minute period. I am guessing
