This will do the trick for me to find air leaks. I compared with the flir, not quite as clear but MUCH cheaper. This would be a steal at $200. At $300 it is an OK deal.

Must have for my shop now.Had an issue with my scuba compressor and used this to help identify the leak.Excellent for diagnosing issues that will have a thermal signature.

We have 2 homes and with energy bill not getting less ever we thought it would be a good idea to find all areas in both homes where we get cold area and plus we heard a bit of a dripping by the sink. Well needless to say we did find a lot, especially few windows and doors where we can adjust, add things and make this more energy efficient vs paying to someone to come out and do it for us. It is a game changer for sure. As far as water leak we still working on identifying it, unfortunately there is not much direction on how to do it so we learning this as we go. Best part once we done with both homes my husband can use it at work, he is electrician and said it would be nice to have handy. Whatever purpose you going to get it for, it would work, just wish there would be more helpful instructions.
