I have about 800ft. of underground dog fence which is from 1-3 inches deep when I got to the break I could barely hear the beep sound and that was with the ear piece in. The maker should boost the signal output. I don't think it would cover 1,500 feet and especially 3 ft deep.

It does not work as advertised.I had a problem from day one and it took them several days to come up with a solution to the problem. When I finally used the locator I realized the signal would only work to about 150 feet not the 1000 ft they advertise. I tried to return the product under their warranty they refused to take it back even though is was less then 30 days since I received it. Their last statement was that I unpacked it wrong. I contacted the PA attorney generals office to file a complaint about false advertising and not honoring their warranty. I would recommend not to buy anything from Vevor their selling cheap junk.

Had an issue with this unit, but customer service was excellent and they took care of it quickly. Have purchased other items from them, and they are very well made. Highly recommend

One battery was dead, so still haven't used yet. Another trip to store first. Not a big deal. Maybe use Duracell.

Don't buy this, it doesn't work. It is just a bag of hastle and frustration. And to top it off, Vevor makes returns extremely difficult. Buyer beware.

Does not work. Alerts constantly. Would not accept return. Finally offered partial refund. Would not buy again.

First time ever using one. Real simple to use from the directions. I was trying to figure out where the wire went to the house so I can figure out if it was disconnected notice that the signal would drop off and be silent after about 12 ft thinking that it wasn't working I was wrong put a shovel in the ground and found a broken wire exactly where it stopped making tone. Tried it out with another wire running across the property and was able to pick it up from Easley 500 ft with good sound.

This underground line tracer did not work out of the box. I could not get a signal to the receiver even when the transmitter had the leads directly on it. I contacted Vevor customer service sent a video of the issue and Vevor would not stand behind the product. I didn't even want money back just a replacement. Very unsatisfied with Vevor. Most of my purchases have worked better than expected. Now I will second guess my purchases in the future.

I tried using the locator on simple wire trace where I know where the wire is and could not get it to work. The adjustment is either always on or none at all. I believe it’s faulty so I just threw it on the bench and used a metal detector. Definitely would NOT recommend.
