This tool makes it easy to find a broken wire location. It took less than 3 minutes to come within 6 inches of the break. Very effective. I connected the red wire to my worx landroid wire and the black to a screwdriver I stuck in the ground. Then follow the path until the noise stops. That simple. The long wire on the handle allows me to walk the path vs crawling.
I got this to trace the underground dog fence in my yard and it worked extremely well. I would definitely recommend this product. It's simple to use and the cost was fantastic.
I only used it a couple times for tracing wires inside a house. It works really well and I love the fact that it can be connected to live wires as well.
