Tried this clamshell type pinion brg puller instead of the big name brand that costs 3-5 times more. I used it on Ford 9" pinion & it worked great and i had no issues at all. I believe this is a cost effective alternative that does the job as advertised.

I've used this multiple times rebuilding my Dana 60. Can't say a bad thing about it and can't imagine doing the job without it.

Haven't used this as it won't work for my application. Need smaller clam shells in order for it to work for what I need it for.

Used to pull worn carrier bearings off a Dana 80 diff. One bearing required the largest breaker-bar I owned and 2 people to hold the differential, but the tool held up great and manged to pop the bearing off without showing any signs of distress. I definitely recommend this for pulling these larger bearings.

This tool does a great job removing the lower bearing carrier larger outboard engines. My outboard has been in fresh water only, which makes this job much easier than salt water units. My tool arrived in great condition, no machining problems, all threaded parts move easy, and true. This brand must inspect their products before shipping, 5 star
