I originally purchased this chamber to pressure can dry goods ( flour, salt, matches, bandages...ect) in mason jars. And it worked wonderful for that purpose. But I will also use it to debatable my molds.

The unit worked as it should. Hosed standard quality a great machine for the $$ delivery was fast chamber pot standard quality

Chamber is of exceptional quality (5 gallon size). Holds 1/2 gallon mason jars. Pulls a very quick vacuum to the maximum attainable at my altitude. Pump is quiet for indoor use. A little vapor escapes the exhaust but seems to be lessening as the pump is breaking in. A finely woven sock over the exhaust will collect the wee bit of vapor. One caution - don't forget to remove the exhaust cap before starting as it will eject with high velocity! Wear safety glasses whenever using pressurized or vacuum apparatus! A fun and useful tool I have always wanted.

I have used several times to stabalize wood and make silicone molds. It pulls a strong vacuum and works as expected.

Been using it since the day it showed up, not a single issue with it. I did have to change the oil after the first use because what I vacuumed was hot and created steam which is not good for the pump, it turned the oil brown. Changed it and haven't made the same mistake since and everything is working perfectly.

Using for degassing epoxy. Works great after it seals. Gasket takes attention and often needs extra pressure on the lid to begin working.

Good unit for the money. Will pull the rated value and the pot is thick. I like the clear top which is more than strong enough. The only problem I have had is that it would not pull and vacuum and the oil would froth up badly. The fix was simple, replace the cheap oil with good stuff.

Use this all the time, and pump removes air in seconds
