This item is heavy duty. Rope and clips are quality. When clipped to my harness I feel safe. Just has to be attached to roof properly. I put eye hooks through roof beam for quick connect.

The fall arresting distance is not revealed in the Amazon listing. Though I'm not an expert, I know this is a critical specification that must be considered when selecting the right fall protection. This listing seems to have gone out of its way to hide this info. This info is printed on the white tag on the energy absorber. Please add a closeup photo of that tag so shoppers can clearly see the arrest distance and max fall length (harness lanyard lenth), which for this is 5ft, plus the max fall of 12 ft. Then you have to add on the distance from harnes D-Ring to your feet plus 2ft of margin. This appears to add up to something like 22ft total max fall distance (for my height). Consider this for your application, if you are working at less than something like 22ft above whatever is below, this may not be the right choice.

This helped keep me safe while I was on the roof. Well worth it as the price was very reasonable. The rope is very rugged and will last for years of climbing on the roof. The clasps seem like they're very high quality and safe.

Rope is high quality. Everything works good however there is not lock to prevent the lock from slipping like my others I’ve used. One story it’s fine. Two story’s and up I wouldn’t trust it

Used this when I replaced my roof last month. The rope seems plenty strong but it isn't nearly as bulky as others I've seen, which makes it a little easier to work with and work around. As far as the slip buckle (forget what it's called) for adjusting rope length it works OK but it doesn't really bite down on the rope when you let go of it like the squeeze type does, so sometimes I wasn't sure if it was grabbing the rope. In reality it most likely would have grabbed the rope if I started to slip but it gave me a slight sense of uncertainty about it, even if my feelings were unfounded. Fortunately I never had to put it to the test so I really don't know for sure how well it will work in a real emergency. Anyway, I got through my job safely without any incidents!Pros: The price of this rope was reasonable compared to others I looked at...It isn't as bulky as others I've seen and used...It makes my wife happy thinking I'm being safe...It at least gives you a false sense of security thinking you're safe (L.O.L).For me it turned out to be a good purchase and I would buy again if I ever needed one, which hopefully I won't! This one should do me for the rest of my life!

Along with the lighter capacity, I like this rope because short lanyard makes it easy to move on steep roofs. Recommend

Quality sturdiness reliable

This was my second time using a harness and this summer i was able to re shingle my roof . Thanks to this well made product i felt secure when i was up there and i didn't have to worry about no village inspector everything was to code , easy to put on truly a great value for the price very happy customer.
