4L Water Distiller Stainless Steel Water Purifier Filter Glass Jar
Great machine. Looks professional, works exactly as described, went together quickly following the directions, and is easy to clean. My wife has taken over the operation of it to keep our automatic expresso machine supplied with DI water. We are no longer buying a gallon and a half a week from the store 25 miles away. Thank you Vevor for making these needed products available at very reasonable prices

Missing parts
Item arrived missing the plastic handle and bolts/nuts to attach it. After emailing support about it, they want pictures of the unit in the box so the "technician can verify". I humbly submit this question of logic: Why is this even a thing? What advantage of the company would I be taking by trying to swindle a second plastic handle? I don't have the original packaging, and if it were atill in the original packaging, there would be no way for me to tell anything was missing because og how it was packed, so providing a picture of this would not provide the technician ANYTHING to verify. Just send the missing part.

I've owned one before, this one is even better than it. Good product for clean water.

Easy to use
When distilled water started to become hard to find, I opted to invest in this product to make my own for my Opal ice maker. It is easy to use, but given our hard water around here, it is a little hard to keep clean. The bottom gets pretty caked over with calcium (or whatever that is), and it's hard to remove, even with the provided cleaner. However, it doesn't seem to impact the performance at all, and we've made probably 5 batches a week for a few months now. If you need a continuous supply of distilled water for whatever reason, this definitely does the job.

Great for my humidifier
We run out of distilled water at our local grocery store in the winter. Got this so we could make some at home. Works great no white dust everywhere from running tap water out of our humidifier.

gasket
I was thrilled when the distiller arrived. I have a lot of plants, and not having to purchase water in plastic containers was my main motivation for purchasing this. Things started out well - though I will admit having a bit of difficulty in attaching the handle to the glass water storage container - and it took a bit to figure out how to access the filter - which I changed after two uses, as when I checked it - I had charcoal residue was all over my fingers. Initially I this a one star rating because after only a few uses, the gasket which is part of the distiller itself, failed to work correctly and I had water all of my counter, and in my cabinet. It was drizzling out in two different spots. I was really sad about this and was going to return it but tried again. After 3 positive uses and then another leaky event, I discovered that the problem is that if the gasket is not completely dry when you put the lid on, it will not create a good seal. Completely drying it did the trick and I have changed my review from one star to four, and will be canceling my return request!

I have 2 distillers now, One is a H20 and the other is the Vevor, which I am not sure who it's made by. The H20 cost about 280.00 and the Vevor cost 89.00 I make 2 to 3 gallons a day. After 1 year I had to replace the power head on the H20 a cost of 90.00 (fan went bad making noise) The Vevor brand will make distilled water alot faster, but is about 3/4 of a cup short of a full gallon if you fill it to the line inside distiller. I must let everyone know I live in the country and have a well for water supply. I also have a water softener which takes the lime out of the water and make cleaning distiller easy each time I make a gallon of water. I use the distiller for the minerals in the water that give water a taste, water softener will not take all the minerals out. back to the Vevor distiller, all in all for the price I do consider this a better deal than the H2O brand. Works
ProsMakes distilled water. Tds 0Color of deviceDoes shut off after it's done about 3 hr 51 minsIf you star with hot water it finish few mins faster.Cost to make less than 1 gallon. Like 3liters is 0.43 cents at 15 cents per kw. Plus cost of water.Cleaning with Crystal. Did need to do this to get rid of the smell. Takes at least 3 to 4 full runs to get tds to 0 and no taste or smell. If you need minimum of 280 gallons per year then you could break even in 1 year.ConsPriceNoise of fanWarms the place. Good for winter, bad during summer. Probably saves you more on heating bill.Uses more power than stated. 754w average. Peaks near 780 watts.Do not think the glass jar is accurate. Seems to be making less than 4L. Even when filled with water at full mark. 1 gallon bottle with almost 600 to 800ml left to be filled. Not sure if this has evaporative loss or it's false advertising. As when it's done making distilled water, the jar is way above the 4L mark. However it can't fill 1 gallon distilled water plastic jug up to max level like it comes from the store..Will measure input ml and output ml to see of there is lost of loss or it's labeled wrong which would intern mean it's not as efficient.
