Without having experience, I would say this is a decent unit. Good price considering how pricey these things can be. Takes some getting used to, made more difficult by my own electronic shortcomings. Fun to use, grandkids enjoy it. Did find my lot corner stake.
I purchased this for my granddaughter and she loves it. It is just a little hard for her to handle. She still enjoys going on a treasure hunt as she calls it.
