I absolutely love this machine its lightweight, rolls really easily across almost any surface (small gravel does well larger gravel your gonna dump it over or it will pull you toward the machine). I have purchased a very similar one, it was big heavy and literally lasted less than 6 months and wouldn't you know that's as long as the manufacture warranty was for. So here are my honest thoughts. Here are a few cons when you're using the wand its very short for say someone who is 5'9" after a little area my back starts killing me because I'm so hunched over, the handle feels very brittle it's not, but I can't see it lasting to long, I really wish i had control like with a trigger on the water flow when using as a shampooer. Other than that, if your shorter than 5'9" AWESOME you will have amazingly spotless carpets and no back pain. Would i buy this again...You bet your damn ass I would.

This machine is far more than I need for my home and 2 car garage. However, the wet suction power will definitely provide the service I occasionally need for clearing my AC lines, especially in hot summer months. Also, the dry suction is almost commercial quality and, again, the 5 HP peak is far more than I need. I am expecting many years of reliable service from this unit.

Had a water leak and this was able to dry the floors very effectively. Much more powerful than I expected for the price and multifunction. Definitely a good buy.

I have tried almost every wet/dry vacuum, each one an extreme disappointment. Buying and returning several major brands over a period of a few months. When I bought the Dewalt, I prepared myself for another big disappointment. However, this vacuum has been a game changer! I'm so happy with it, I'm keeping it! It has solved my dirty garage floor problems. We live on a dirt road and our vehicles track buckets of dirt in the garage over a couple weeks. I no longer have to walk over dirt getting in and out of my car because this vacuum is designed for vacuuming a floor. The suction is perfect. Two things I would improve is the handle/hose connections should be on a pivot and the extension should be longer so I don't have to bend over when using. I will need to buy an extra extension. Thus is the best wet/dry vacuum on the market.

I have always went with the shop vac brand. After taking a chance on this one, I wouldn’t go back. It has a lot of suction, all kinds of attachments, storage bag to hold everything and it is was very easily moved. It’s the tiny details that makes it great.

We had previously purchased a vacuum specifically designed to remove fireplace dust. It didn't suck - literally. We got rid of it and purchased the DEWALT shop vac. It is a serious professional vacuum. It comes with usable attachments and you can purchase various filters and bags to meet your vacuum needs. It works great. We have not used it as a wet vacuum yet, but it has been fantastic as a dry vacuum.

I use it to vacuum my house and around my pool. I use it to get the last of the water out of my pool when I drain it. It blows really well. Powerful, perfect size, easy to use. LOVE.
