Nice set I have used them for awhile now and they seem to be holding up fine. Good price for the set would buy again.

I got my grandpa's wood lathe and the same piece of wood that was on it in 1980 was still set up on it. I had never used a wood lathe before only metal lathes. I used a wood chisel, a screwdriver, and a knife to work the piece of wood at first and it was a bit of a job to get any cuts. I got my cutting tools in the mail and I was astonished how well the tools cut. They cut through the wood like it was melting. I am completely impressed and they seem to be good quality and the inserts are changeable which I didn't know if they were. I would buy more of these tools

Quality set of tools for a good price. Would differently purchase again. Comes with t handle wrenches to change out tips.

The internet people said carbide insert lathe tools were easier for beginners... it was not.The traditional HSS was way easier and consistent plus less chip outs.

Came in a nice box. They are well made tools. Very sharp. Great tools for the price. They could be a little longer for some cuts but again you get 4 for the price of one.

Tools worked great for all my pen turning. They are slightly smaller and work great for pens, pendants, and key fobs.

Great value. I'm not very experienced,.but these cut nicely, as well.as the ones that came.with my lathe. I'm optimistic that these will need less sharpening as I'm turning. They don't seem to leave as smooth a finish as my traditional HSS chisels and I haven't had to sharpen them yet, but I'm thinking a few locks with diamond lapping stick should do it. They seem nicely made and I'm cautiously optimistic.
