The stove was just what my friend wanted.
I purchased this wonderful product as a gift for a friend...so I can not provide a picture. He likes to camp but it is winter when I gave it to him. He set it up in his living room and promptly called to tell me he was delighted. Due to Covid I was unable to go see it.

Well Built / Works
I purchased this wood stove to have as a backup heat source in case of a major power outage. It is well built and works as advertised. All the parts fit together well. I started my first fire in just a few minutes. The ash tray can be pulled out to adjust the temperature.

Needs exhaust interface support
Exhaust pipe interface with the burning unit is precarious, but if you add metal straping and a few screws an excellent fire pit containment with the removable top, don't see that everywhere--

A solid foundation to improve on
Got mine from "Another seller" and at first was not too impressed but it had good bones and was solidly built for the most part. My hobby is restoring antique wood stoves so fine tuning this little bugger was no problem.Taking some time to see how it worked and how it changed once it heated up required only minor fine tweaking to make everything work, open and close the door regardless of the temperature took some gentle adjusting, just do it very gently as the hinges are only spot welded. The aluminum top did warp the first fire but has settled down and no longer warps, air leaks are minor, the air intake is your ash tray which is slightly pulled out for air, pushed closed for damping.A chimney damper is not needed as fire is easily controlled by the air intake giving s low fluffy rolling flame. The fire box grate allows for ash to be removed as you burn but works much better if you raise the door end 1/8 if an inch, this give increased and more focused air flow and acts as an air wash for your window.I am using mine in my tiny cabin (200 sq feet) and it is very miserly on wood, big on heat and easy to fine tune and control. The chimney pipe is also a pleasant surprise, seamless and just slips together and once heated turns all the colors of the rainbow which is very cool!I bought it to use for backup heat only but it works so well it has jumped to my full time go to heater!Update: Because of heat binding on hinge welds one has broken as expected, tomorrow it goes to the machine shop to re weld and re enforce all the door and body hinges which is one reason I opted for a riveted main body rather the welded and yes I did paint and polish the stove to looke like something from the 1900's!Back from the welder: Got some additional welding done on the door and body hinges the the shop (that builds race cars) was impessed by the seam welds (where you can see light grinding marks) these were Laser welded which is very precise, distortion free and strong, I too was impressed!

great stove for the price! I was impressed!
I took this on a 3 day camping trip and it rained the entire time. this stove while a little on the heavy side is well built and put off a ton of heat. I burned oak and other various hard woods in it all night every night and never had any smoke in the tent. I had hung a carbon monoxide detector in the tent and it never went off either.

It's a small beast!!
My first impression after unboxing. THIS SMALL STOVE IS A BEAST!!!! This thing is built like a tank! It IS heavy, it's NOT a Titanium or thin stainless steel stove. This thing will last a LONG time! Now some caveats! WEAR THICK LEATHER GLOVES WHEN ASSEMBLING SOME PARTS AND THE PIPES, VERY SHARP EDGES! Some of the pipes came a bit bent so it was hard to insert them into each other. A little patience fidleing with them and they all went in. By the way good quality pipes. Door comes with chimney gasket already attached. The 2 discs that sit on top are my biggest worry, is smoke going to leak out of there? I guess I'll fire it up this weekend and find out. Outdoors, of course. So, once I fire it up and determine the performance and smoke leakage, or lack of, I'll post part two. If it performs well, then this would be a 5 star wood stove for overland camping. NOT FOR BACK PACKING, TOO HEAVY! Until then, HAPPY CAMPING!
