Pros: plenty hefty, functions exactly as expected, well-priced for the weekend or beginner woodworker. Cons: fit and finish is commensurate with a vise priced under $90. The casting is a little bit rough at some of the edges. Again, plenty good enough for the casual woodworker. Yes, I would recommend this vise, especially at the price point.
