Works great but roots can slow you down
This is my first tiller so I cannot compare it to any other. I bought the 18inch version to till compost into a 1200 square foot area. My soil is sandy, so tilling soil was not a problem. The one issue i ran into is that there were a lot of roots in my yard. These got tangled up in the times, forcing me to stop and cut them off. The tines did not seem to be damaged by the roots.Bottom line it did the job for not a lot of money. Very light so not tiring to operate. The handles can be broken down in a minute or two for more compact storage

CUTS THROUGH BAMBOO ROOTS!!
This is definitely a winner. I’ve been battling bamboo invasion due to the neighbor or who knows having planted it. I’ve had to have massive excavation done in my front yard and along the side of my house and install a barrier. Which has cost me thousands of dollars. The bamboo is now invading the backside of the property but it’s not as bad.I didn’t feel like having to pay somebody $500 or more to dig it all up and create a trench. So I decided to go the route of a tiller/trencher and do it myself. And this one definitely does the job. Granted it does take a couple of passes, but it chews right through it.it will take some time to get across the full back fence line, but completely worth it.Very easy to put together and very lightweight. (I’m 5’1”. 115 lbs) I’m going to replace the plastic quick release levers with better ones since it seems the vibration causes them to flip open. and that would be the only downside.I can’t be happy enough that I got it!!

I was doubtful..
I did not take a before picture, so this is the after. There were a ton of weeds that I cut down last week and I wanted to test this during my lunch break. (I work 7 days a week). It is SUPER fast, your feet get only a little dirty, MEANING, it does not kick back onto your legs or shoes. I used the wheels to move around, but they can tilt up. There were some roots, but since this was a test I went around the ones I could see. I have more to do in the back, just to turn up the ground etc. This is great. The ground is VERY dry and not "hard", however, I am TOTALLY sure if it were harder, there would be ZERO issue. This unit or the more powerful one is a great choice.

It’s a monster!
This little thing did amazing! Living in AZ we only have clay/sand and rock in our ground. This handled it all. I was pulling up some pretty big rocks with it, and it never quite. Lots of power. The levers that tighten the bolts on the handle were a little flimsy, but it wasn’t anything terrible.

Little Powerhouse
It took me about 15 minutes to set up and immediately afterwards went outside to do some tilling. I love this thing. It will definitely get away from you when moving forward, but all powerful and in control when moving backwards. I absolutely had fun with this thing and could have tilled the entire yard for no other reason than just having fun with it. Just be sure to have a long enough cord. I used a 3 prong grounded 50 ft medium duty outdoor cord. Love it!

Decent tiller
Decent tiller for the price. Would be better if it had wheels to stabilize but it gets the job done so far.
