Water Distiller
The directions say to not use your first batch of water in case of any residues that could be left behind from manufacturing. I did that and when I cleaned it I noticed some black residue on the inside of the lid, I thought it was from the water. I used the second gallon and so on but I noticed the black residue disappeared after several (maybe 5) uses and I haven't seen it since. I also thought I saw something black floating in my glass jug of clean water. I realized once the black residue inside the lid was gone, so was the black floating stuff in my water jug. Now I wish I'd thrown away every batch until they black residue was gone.

Doesn't quite line up right
The glass container doesn't quite line up right with the distiller so the spout doesn't drip into it. Which means water all over the counter. I had to put a wooden spoon under the far side of the glass container to tilt it towards the distiller in order to get the water to drip into the container.Otherwise, works great!

so far so good
when I could not find distilled water at the store I looked for another way. I bought this one because you can change the timperature. It works great!! In the 4 days I have had it I have made 8 gallens of distilled water. I took my time learning how or I could have made more. It is easy to run and clean. in the long run it will pay for it self. I will not have to go to the store every few days and hope that the the distilled water any more. I love it

Works exactly as expected, but some assembly required
My city tap water is very hard and has something that makes it seem greasy when I make ice with it. We also make coffee and tea many times each day, so our electric coffee makers and tea kettles need to be descaled very often. Combine that with the residue in our counter top hydroponic gardens and my need for distilled water for my CPAP and it only made sense for us to buy a counter top water distiller. This is very easy to use: fill the bottom chamber with water from the tap, put the top (condenser component) on, plug the top into the bottom and the bottom into the wall, place the glass collection container correctly, and press the power button. The heating element will automatically turn off when the water is mostly gone from the bottom container and the temperature goes above the factory- set level(which cannot be changed) as a safety measure. The distiller comes with four activated carbon filters that go into the metal spout. There is one in the spout already, but it should be rinsed to get rid of any carbon dust before the first use. Push the spout box toward the main body of the condenser unit and swing the box slightly down and away from the condenser. There is a plastic slot that a tab on the filter box slides into which moves slightly up and down to keep the box in place, so be careful when moving things around. To prepare the filter, soak it in clean water for 5-10 minutes, then run it under the tap until the water runs clear. Fold the filter back up, poke it into the metal box, and slide the tab on the box back into the plastic slot on the condenser. Push the box back up into the condenser until it clicks into place and you’re ready to go!The only issue that I had with this distiller is the fact that I had to assemble the handle and straps on the collection container. The straps are shipped in a way that they are zip-tied together and I had to kind of turn them inside out when I attached them to the handle. The small, flat part of the strap fits against the ha

Good Deal
Comprehensive product. Comes with accessories for normal use except for vinegar/citric acid for cleaning. Concise instructions. I plan on using this for tea, as the water from our river has 70 times the EPA limit of PFAS.

Works great
Love the red color, very shiny. I can make distilled water for my husband and not have to search in multiple stores that always seem to be out ever since 2020. Really do not use the first batch, from manufacturing it leaves this black gunk behind, but the 2nd batch, looks totally clear, that is in the directions, please follow. The handle is a bit cheap and I doubt you could actually lift it by the handle, but it does say use 2 hands. it doesn't pour easily, he dumped a third of it trying to pour it, so you may want to do that over a sink. We have well water and it does leave residue behind so you may want to stop the machine before it's completely done and use the hot water to clean the bottom that's still in the unit. Very happy with it. It is quite larger than it looks in the picture. Photos and video included, shows size next to honey bear and wine bottle.

Good product for the price
Easy to use once you figure it out. Directions are terrible so I found some videos on you tube that helped me out. With the shortage of distilled water (at least in our area) this will make it so much easier.

The proof lies at the bottom
Processes is slow but water is pure ! It took a couple runs for me to figure out a few minor details like starting out the processes with Hot water from the tap. Takes about 4 hrs for a full run. I live in northern Oakland County in lower Michigan & our wells are known for high levels Arsenic. After reading up on the poison, Reverse Osmosis is good but not 100%. Distillation not only removes all the Arsenic but gob's of other crap that only God knows what. After each run there's a tan paste that deposits on the bottom of the boiling chamber which is all the junk I'd rather not be ingesting good or bad. It's easily removed using citric acid crystals & water after each use. I feared the water would be tasteless & unappealing to drink NOT SO !!! After chilling & guzzling a few glasses I couldn't be happier with the results. Just received it yesterday we'll see if it keeps working for the long hall, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! Especially with the state of our Government & the additives their putting into our water supply. Please Drink Responsibly!!!!
