I bought these hoping to use them in a product design since they are on clearance. I bought 3 sets and they seem decent. They are real carbon fiber looking like a twill crossed at 90 degrees. They are 30mm +- .05mm approximately being that i found a spot that maybe was +.09mm near the drilled location causing slight out of round. Internal Diameter is 28mm +- .05 with about .05 out of round. They are about 1mm thick about so their strength is decent for the size but carbon fiber is very light making their strength/weight ratio better than most materials. I put my knee against one and put some effort against it and it didn't break and the strain I was able to put into it returned to shape immediately when released, and that is the direction it is weakest. Cylindrically or vertically I believe it will be very strong. I couldn't find evidence of a layer crossing the twill at 45 degrees but that would be in the range of 160$ or more depending. The coat was mostly glossy with no additional polish. To make all 6 uniform in sheen I wiped with a quick drying silicone and believe a quick polish would put them all to a uniform high gloss. Nice carbon fiber pole for a great price. A fraction of the weight of the one I am replacing (stainless). Sectional poles are not pry bars but are plenty strong for beach hunting and wading. At the end of a long hunt my body appreciates shaking a much lighter scoop.

Purchased recently a carbon fiber pole for my sand scoop from Vevor. The price was right and actually the carbon fiber pole was of high quality. Have already used the pole with new sand scoop with no problems. Would highly recommend this pole to anyone.
