MY FATHER-IN-LAW PURCHASED THESE LIGHTS TO INSTALL ON A WOODEN CROSS HE HAS IN HIS FRONT YARD. THEY WERE EASY TO PUT ON, AND THE BRIGHTNESS OF THESE LIGHTS AT NIGHT IS AMAZING. Legit lights
I bought these on sale for $10.48 including tax, free shipping. Too good to pass up. I plan to use them on a future lighting project. There are 10 strips of 20 modules each. The modules are flat taped side-by-side with double sided adhesive tape for mounting. Each module has 3 LED emitters at 0.5 W each, so one strip incorporating 60 emitters demands 30 W or 2.5 A at 12V. The manual does not indicate polarity or dimmability. I found that the wire with the red strip must be wired to positive and the plain white wire to negative. Reversing polarity did not seem to cause damage, just did not light. I found that a PWM module can be used to dim the lights. Light color temperature is very white, I am guessing 6000K.
